Jeju Island

Hello everyone!

I would like to introduce Jeju island this time.

Although many people may know, Jeju island is called "Hawaii in Korea" because of much warm weather compare to mainland of Korea and having a great nature.

There are 3 direct flights in a week between Fukuoka and Jeju, and flight time is approximately one and half hours. They are also very famous that we can have very nice seafoods and special meat of black color pork. My favorites are abalone rice porridge and sea urchin & seaweed soup!

Many resort hotels in Jeju have casinos, golf course and beautiful beach, so ifyou can go there, I think you can totally relax. Currently Japanese Yen is getting stronger, so I recommend you to add one of your option for the next vacation trip.

went to SMAP's Live !!

I'm not a huge fun of them but my mum got the tickets so went to the live yesterday held at Yahoo dome in momochihama in Fukuoka.

I don't think they are good singers but their songs are very catchy and popular

among men and women of all ages.
Surprigingly their performance lasted for 4 hours!!
I really enjoyed it with dancing and singing:)

Nice little restaurant in Nishijin

Hi, how are you enjoying your life in Fukuoka?

I often have a dinner with my old frined (classmate from high school) on weekend.

Yesterday, I went to a restaurant in Nishijin which is called "Hiyoko Shokudou", meaning "chick canteen" .

The name sounds a little funny, but it is a tiny restaurant where you can eat Japanese food with organic eggs.

Not only egg dishes, you can enjoy various casual Japanese dishes, fish , tofu and vegetables...it is yammy, and very healthy.

If you would like to try authentic Japanese home-style dishes, you should definitely go to Chick canteen!
